Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at UPC, Barcelona. Landslides in soils and rocks is currently a major research area in our Group. Main subjects: Development of general purpose numerical prediction tools for pre-failure and post-failure phenomena (based on Material Point Method (especially) and DEM), constitutive models, back analysis of well documented case histories.
